On-Campus Interviewing

During the fall and spring semesters, employers schedule on-campus interviews at TCU for their open positions. These are screening interviews usually lasting 30 or 45 minutes. The goal in these interviews is to get invited to the employers' offices for on-site interviews.

The on-campus interviews are real employment interviews so it is important that you treat them as such. The only difference is that you will apply for these interviews through the FrogJobs.net system and the interviews will take place in University Career Services.

Employers who visit campus to perform interviews seek students from a wide variety of majors and they often are hiring for full-time jobs after graduation as well as internships.

In order to be considered eligible for on-campus interviewing, you must:

  • Be a current student or alumni of Texas Christian University.
  • Register with University Career Services at least 24 hours prior to the Application Deadline. Registering requires that students and alumni have an active account in FrogJobs.net and upload a resume into the database.
  • Meet the qualifications established by the employer. Exceptions can be made in certain circumstances. Please see a staff member to discuss your own situation.
  • Be interested in the employer and the types of positions for which interviews are being conducted. Employers dislike candidates who are merely practicing their interviewing skills.
  • Apply for interviews through FrogJobs.net.

You are expected to keep scheduled interviews, however, cancellations will be accepted up to 24 hours before the interview. If you miss an interview or do not cancel 24 hours prior to the time of the interview, you have committed an infraction. You will be required to meet with a UCS staff member to discuss the infraction. Your account will be turned off and you will be blocked from interviewing until you have met with the staff member and submitted to our office an original letter of apology (along with a stamped envelope) addressed to the recruiter.
